Who is Oskana Grigorieva?

I was just surfing the net and all over the place is this girl named Oskana Grigorieva; I’ve never heard of her so of course I had to click on a picture to find out who this girl was… Aparently she is Mel Gibson’s new girlfriend, I thought he was married but I guess not.  The gossip is that Oskana broke up Mel Gibson’s marraige but they are saying that’s not true.  I saw another head line that she is definitely pregnant with Mel’s baby and he told his estranged wife that it’s true.  It’s so funny how many different stories you can find on the internet that swear to be true!! Gotta love gossip ;)

Kris Allen Wins!!

I watched American IDol last night, What a shocker!!! I think Chris Allen was even shocked that he won!!! He is so adorable, he has a little boy look but handsome at the same time… and although some may not agree it’s so cute how he sings out of the corner of his mounth! He is going to be the next singer that all the girls have crushes on!

On another note… I loved the dress Paula was wearing, it was so fancy and sparkly and the color looked really great on her!! She actually looked pretty good last night, not weird and over the top like she normaly does.

American Idol

I don’tamerican idol to much, but from what I’ve seen Allison rocked!! I loved her voice and style. She seemed to have it all, it’s too bad she got kicked off, espcailly on rock and roll week!  Everyone seems to be talking about Adam! I’ve heard him and he is pretty dang great!! I’m ure he’ll win, even if he doesn’t he has a huge career in front of him!! It will be interesting to see who wins!!

Mountains

I just got back from Arizona yesterday and I had a window seat on the way there and on the way back.

Now, I have flown to Arizona a TON of times throughout my life and most of those times I was not in the window seat (or I didn’t appreciate what I was seeing).  This time I really paid attention.  We were coming up on the Rockies and it looked like his huge wall of beauty and that once you hit the wall, you’d be passing it by… BUT once we DID fly over that wall, the layout was breathtaking!

It continues on for what feels like FOREVER as you gaze our your window.  Highs and lows and plateaus.  Man, I have never seen anything so beautiful.

Peanut Butter

I’m sure you all have heard about the peanut butter recall that has been going on. Apparently peanut butter that has been sold in Minnesota and Connecticut are infected with Salmonella.  I haven’t bought any peanut butter since I heard the news on these but last night I was craving peanut butter for some reason so I went to the store adn bought some! Now I’m nervous that I might get sick lol! But oh well it was wonderful peasnut butter!!! Here’s a little more about the outbreak…

Peanut butter is sold by PCA in bulk containers ranging in size from five (5) to 1,700 pounds.  The peanut paste is sold in sizes ranging from 35-pound containers to product sold by the tanker container.  Neither of these products is sold directly to consumers.

However, through its investigation, FDA has determined that PCA distributed potentially contaminated product to more than 70 consignee firms, for use as an ingredient in hundreds of different products, such as cookies, crackers, cereal, candy and ice cream. FDA’s report on its inspection of the PCA facility is available at this link: http://www.fda.gov/ora/frequent/default.htm. Companies all over the country that received product from PCA have issued voluntary recalls of their products.  FDA has created a searchable database for these products, which can be found at http://www.accessdata.fda.gov/scripts/peanutbutterrecall/index.cfm, Identification of products subject to recall is continuing and this list is updated frequently.

Product recalls now include some pet food products that contain peanut paste that was made by PCA. While the risk of animals contracting salmonellosis is minimal, there is risk to humans from handling these products. It is important for people to wash their hands–and make sure children wash their hands–before and, especially, after feeding treats to pets. Further information for consumers is located in the Frequently Asked Questions section located on this web site. The pet food products are also included in the searchable data base of recalled products.
