Twilight
12:01am Friday November 21st Marked the premier of the most highly anticpated movie since Harry Potter. You got that right, Twilight. A story about Vampires and romance, having to fight one of his own to save the love of his life. I was amongst hundreds who packed into the theater in Eden Prairie MN waiting excitedly to make our way through the lines to get seated into one of 8 movie theaters that were showing the movie to finally get to see the book come to life before our very eyes. There are 4 books in the series, Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn. 100 pages into the first book, you are hooked line and sinker, not wanting to put them down until you have made your way through all four books. Twilight the movie is the first of what I believe a series similar to Harry Potter, more of these movies will soon follow to tell the Bella Swan story. A few of us girls will be heading out after work tonight to catch another showing of the movie.
A full report will be coming following the weekend to give you our inside scope on the movie.

I feel like the movie did a great job of sticking to the book and was very enjoyable! Unfortunatly we are going to have to go again to really be able to enjoy it. The theater was so packed with screaming tween fans we felt we missed alot of the movie! Our advice is to wait a week or two to go, and than hopefully avoid the pack of screaming fans!

I read in a magazine while waiting in line at Target on Black Friday that 3 more movies are in the works for Twilight
how exciting! However, I also heard that Breaking Dawn will need to be broken up into two movies cause of the length and detail the book is. I am excited to see how they do the other movies, if it is indeed true that they are in the works.
One thing I was dissapointed on in the movie Twilight was how they portrayed Bella. I felt that she was colder in the movie then she was portrayed in the book. In the book she seemed quite resrved, you could say shy at first, but also a hopeless romantic. What do you think?

I would just like to say I LOVE the books and I felt the movie did a pretty good job staying with the book. I loved Edward, he did such a great job! I wouldn’t mind having a vampire boyfriend just like that!!
Bella did kind of suck; she should’ve been more clumsy and fragile! But oh well the movie was still good and I can’t wait to see it again without all the screaming girls!

I agree with you Amber! I also feel like in they made Bella far to cold in the movie where as in the book she was just more awkward and shy. She also should have been played by someone with a more natural softer apperance as well. I am excieted to hear that there are more movies in the works! Hopefully the next one will be out this time next year!
